After weeks of feeling pretty bummed out due to my birthday weekend turning out differently than I thought it would, I’d had enough and decided that it was time I do something to get myself back into high gear! I could not think of a better way to do that than experiencing of a change of environment.
.
During the weekend my husband and I had to do some extensive driving anyway, so we took some time for ourselves and stopped by a campground to engage in a little impromptu exploring. I tell you, the moment that I stepped foot onto the grounds my mood lifted almost instantly! To be among the varying tones and textures of the tall trees, beautiful landscape, and fresh air worked wonders to charge my internal batteries. I felt renewed, refreshed, and most of all inspired!

Here are some photos I took during our mini-adventure:

The next moment you catch a case of the moody bluesthat you just cannot seem to shake, consider getting away from four walls and out into nature. Go camping for a weekend; take a day trip, or just a few hours. Whether it is a campground like I did, a large park or even an area by a river or lake, the guaranteed way to get inspired again is to surround yourself in the wonder and beauty of a natural setting; basking in the glow of the Universe’s creations.
.
Believe me: your spirit and mind will greatly thank you for it!
