Review: Making Evenings Enjoyable with Aveeno Ultra-Calming Makeup Removing Wipes

I have to admit that I am really awful at removing makeup from my face in the evenings. With all that I do, most times I am simply too tired at the end of the day to do anything other than collapse in the bed and go to sleep!

 

I must do better!

 

We all know that sleeping in makeup is a very bad thing to do. It can lead to all types of facial problems—especially breakouts. And nothing frustrates me more than to awaken to a newly-formed pimple, or feel one forming on my face during the course of a day.

 

So I have decided that it is time to take action: to seek out a product that makes the makeup removal process a lot easier for me. That way, I will be more apt to do it.

 

I decided to give Aveeno Ultra-Calming Makeup Removing Wipes a try. The wipes are a part of their Active Naturals product line, and I already use the moisturizing lotions, sunscreen, and lip balm. Needless to say, my expectations were high with the removal wipes.

 

 

 

The first thing that I noticed about these wipes is that they are very thick.

My hand is only slightly visible through the wipe.

 

 

The wipes are also very strong and big in size—which is great because it increases the possibility that only 1 wipe will be needed for makeup removal. They smell really nice, too!

 

 

The ingredients for the wipes are half and half: a combination of both natural and non-natural ingredients.

 

These wipes worked extremely well! Not only did they remove all of the makeup off of my face (using only 1 wipe!), they also left my face feeling very clean without the sticky or tingling feeling that I’ve experienced with other makeup removal wipes. The wipes did not over-dry my skin or leave any irritation either. For my sensitive skin, that is a pretty big deal.

 

I can honestly say that these wipes exceeded all of my expectations—makes me wonder why I have not been using them all along!

 

Aveeno Ultra-Calming Makeup Removing Wipes are great to have on hand for getting makeup off your face quickly, easily, and most importantly, effectively.
