This is truly an empowering message. I second what Ray Lewis aspired to do. Being raised in a poverty-stricken environment, I used to believe that’s all I would ever know. Then one day, I realized that I am only a product of my environment if I do nothing to ever change it. Once I came to this realization I knew that something had to be done to show those coming behind me that ALL THINGS ARE POSSIBLE. When we know why we’re doing something, we are better equipped to make it happen. Thank you for the sharpening, Makeba! Awesome share!

I mean, we’ve seen SO many great examples of that over the years that it truly is inspiring!
