October is National Bullying Prevention Month, and Secret Deodorant has created yet a new and innovative way to help in the fight to end bullying—particularly among girls.
The new “Gang Up for Good” website at www.MeanStinks.com is filled with aggregating real-time, anti-bullying content and encouragement from across the brand’s social channels with searchable peer-to-peer advice, so it’s available to girls when they need it most.

The online hub includes a #NiceAdvice section, where girls across the country can share their experiences, offer words of encouragement, and find advice from both experts and girls just like them. ‘What Would You Do‘ scenarios are added to the site weekly that give girls the floor to share their perspective and success stories on handling bullying situations and behaviors. For easy log-in, Secret has made the real-time, interactive dashboard accessible via Twitter.

that is a great campaign from Secret, I remember bullying being around when I was in elementary school many moons ago, peers sometimes can be and more or less to get a laugh from their friends, which is so not cool. I remember when I was in 7th/8th grade, the bridgeport school system created a program called Peer Mediation, so if people had issues with each other you appeared before a board of your own peers and they would try and come up with resolutions. I remember my friend being on the committee in high school but I was in my own world then and cannot say I experience bullying once I got into 8th grade.
Thanks for sharing; I think this would be a great stocking stuffer for my nieces, they are not bullies but I love supporting causes like this!

What I love is that nowadays, tools like Secret’s campaign has give kids access to resources and support they would not have had otherwise.
