I was recently given the opportunity to try out SHOLDIT wrap, a new product that states to combine functionality with freedom and fashion for people on the go. I must be honest: after using it several times, I think that the patent-pending wrap could use a little fine-tuning.
SHOLDIT Wrap Review
When I received the SHOLDIT wrap it looked like it had great promise. An item that would allow me to ditch my much-weighted purse in exchange for a means of carrying my items in a more fashionable manner sounded great to me. I could not wait to give it a spin.

When I took it out of the package, the first thing I noticed is how wide and seemingly bulky it was.
The SHOLDIT wrap has two zipper pockets for carrying personal belongings. It can be worn as a scarf or wrap, and even carried as a clutch. I was most interested in the scarf/wrap options.
Zipper pocket number one: the largest pocket

Zipper pocket number 2: a smaller pocket
In the pockets, I added a few belongings that I know I cannot live without: my cell phone, keys, iPod, and small billfold.
I arranged the SHOLDIT wrap different ways:

Wearing the SHOLDIT wrap this way places the carried items behind you.
The bulk of items carried is visible on the side.
A closer look
I really wanted to find a way that the SHOLDIT wrap could work for me, so I removed the ‘hard-type’ items and replaced them with ‘softer’ more lightweight belongings: tissues, lip balm, lipstick, and a compact.
These items seemed to work better in the SHOLDIT and were not as visible.

Another issue that I noticed is that despite the variety of colors and patterns available, the SHOLDIT wrap cannot be worn with every type of outfit, which is a bummer for people like me who find it a hassle to change back and forth between carriers.
If this is your usual type of clothing wear, SHOLDIT may not compliment it well.
Do not get me wrong, Overall the SHOLDIT wrap is a good product. I just believe that it could be an even better product if it were more streamlined in design, more accommodating and concealing with ‘hard-type’ items, and more versatile for all fashion types. It would also be great if it had a hidden, built-in string for use as a shoulder strap for those who prefer one. All in all, the SHOLDIT is not an item that I would purchase for myself, but others may find that it can suit their needs very well.
