Prince Covers New Billboard Magazine

Prince covers the newly unveiled January 26 issue of Billboard magazine.

The legendary musician will be receiving the Icon award at this year’s Billboard Music Awards on May 19, where he is also scheduled to perform. Late last year, Prince released the new single “Rock and Roll Love Affair” putting fans worldwide in a frenzy of anticipation for a new album soon.

Not only is the “Purple Rain” singer on the cover, his feature launches a brand new era for Billboard, which includes a freshly revamped magazine, access to issues via iPads, and a redesigned website to be launched very soon.

Billboard has this to say about its re-launch:
