It took a while, but I am finally coming to grips with the reality that it is time for me to start getting more technology in my life. The schedules, responsibilities, and needs of everyone in my household are changing fast! To ensure that I keep up and that all of the family members are equipped with their needs, I am doing some exploring to find out which products will best fit the bill.

For the longest, it has been suggested by my friends and family that I check out a tablet to make managing my life easier, but I am always apprehensive about trying new technology because I usually find myself struggling to figure it out.

I just knew that would be the case with the Verizon Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 10.1. Surprisingly, it is the exact opposite.

The Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 is a slim, lightweight device that I became fond of the moment I powered it on! Here are just a few of the features I like about it so far:

  • Super-long battery life (it boasts up to 12 hours of usage time and 624 hours of standby time)
  • Extremely easy to use (which is saying a lot for someone like me who deem themselves ‘technically-challenged’)
  • The large screen and sharp graphics (great for my bad eyesight and big fingers)

The keyboard is nicely-sized and easy to use

There are a couple of things that I need more time to figure out, such as the split keyboard and smart remote, but with the tablet being so user-friendly, I am confident that I will be a total pro at all of the features in no time!

The more I explored the device I began to realize how Verizon’s Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 can be helpful for busy Moms like me (just as my friends and family were trying to tell me all along). First, because of its weight and size, it has far better portability than the old notetbook computer I have been using forever. I can take it everywhere from the grocery store to business and PTA meetings and have access to everything all in one place without the need to fumble through papers or strain to read the screen of my cell phone.

Thin enough to fit into my bags without a problem

I can use the tablet as a companion while shopping for groceries, and even for cooking to access recipes

The size makes it convenient for me to work on the blog (or anything else that I need to) anywhere anytime

Second, the tablet will be godsend while on-the-go with the kids. They can watch TV shows and movies, play games, or even read their favorite ebooks together. No matter where we are, I never have to worry about seeing pouted faces or hearing the dreaded words, “I’m bored” again!

The Movie Hub feature will definitely come in handy!

With only a few days into use, I must say that I am loving Verizon’s Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 thus far.  It seems that it may be a great fit for me. Be sure to connect with me across the web on Twitter, Instagram, and YouTube as I keep you posted on how everything is going. Also be sure to check out Verizon.com to learn more about everything the this device has to offer.

I don’t personally have a tablet, but I am in the market for one. I think for me, I need to have a tablet that has a big screen but is thin and light enough for me to carry around when I go to conferences. I really like this Samsung Galaxy tab!

Great review! My guy wants this tablet, I’ll share your review with him. I have an iPad2 that I love, but I may consider #teamandroid for my next purchase.

What a great opportunity for you, to get to try out a tablet. I was one of the people who said who needs a tablet when I have a smart phone and a laptop. Lucky for me I won an IPad mini from the SITS girls. Now I’m hooked. What I use the most is the to do list. I also like how portable tablets are.

I’m sure you’ll continue to discover great things about the samsung tablet. 🙂

I love my tablet and never leave home without it. My kids received them from Santa and it was a hit. They love reading and playing games on the go.

  • I bought my current tablet so I could work on my blog when I was away from home, which is everyday all day lol I like the feature of the Verizon Samsung tablet because it has a SD card slot. Mine does not have this feature but it makes up for it in online storage space. You’ll love your tablet for keeping you on schedule. You can write reminders or lists of what will be needed and set alarms to keep you on point! You’re going to be one organized mom!

  • We need a tablet for our family and the Samsung Galaxy 2 seems to have some great features.

  • When I am looking for a tablet device, I want portability, long batterly life, big screen and bright graphics. I like being able to carry a tablet and have all my data with me instead of bunch of papers or the laptop.
