When we arrive at a crossroads in life or a place where there has been constant disappointment in our journey, sometimes it is natural for us to underestimate our potential. When frustration sets in, it’s natural for us to have our doubts about the steps we should take next. And when discouragement sets in, it’s natural for us to begin to believe that there isn’t anything greater for us than the things we can presently see.
Help For Discouragement
Those are the moments where we may find ourselves thinking: “All I need is a chance—some help or a sign to lead me back to believing again.”
In order to get what we wish for, we must humble ourselves and ask for help.
Being open to God for direction and clarity for where we currently are in life right now is an act of desire for elevation—not a form of concession. If we do not desire instructed progression, we can never be blessed with the next level of our journey.
In fact, seeking out guidance from God may be the only thing we can do. And when we do, it is important that we ask Him to change the way in which we receive or react to the situation until we return to a positive mindset. It is amazing how a simple change in perception can work miracles for reactivating faith after feeling discouraged.
All in all, remember that no setback, trial, or tribulation can ever take away what we are meant to be. In times of discouragement, just seek the Lord and ask Him for help. Be sure to follow the guidance that He gives you. And above all, never lose HOPE.

A few steps back does not erase the many steps you have taken forward. It may just be that you need a helping hand to journey on.
